Highly Experienced Tutor for Years 4, 5 & 6

Julie is a fully qualified teacher with over 30 years of experience, specialising in teaching and tutoring children in Years 5 and 6 in the Rugby area. She is known for her kind, patient, and dedicated approach, helping children thrive                 academically and personally.

As a full-time tutor, Julie creates a supportive and encouraging learning environment where children feel confident to build on their existing knowledge. New concepts are introduced using a variety of engaging methods, including         manipulatives (hands-on resources, especially for Maths), whiteboard practice, visual aids, and informal note-taking.

Learning sessions are a blend of interactive games, practical activities, and structured paper-based tasks to reinforce understanding in a fun yet focused way.

Julie holds an Enhanced DBS certificate and is registered on the Update Service. She is committed to the safety and well-being of every child, completing regular safeguarding training and maintaining first aid certification.
